• Trend Alert: Spring Wedding Runners!

    Posted by Jeanette Quintero
It’s officially spring now and if you’re a spring, summer, or fall bride, linens are probably on your mind!
There are a few trends that come back around each year for runners and these are our top favorites for this spring. With these choices, you can’t go wrong!

    1. Chiffon:
This has been huge for a while and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down! A chiffon table runner, whether on all the tables or just a head/sweetheart, is the perfect way to bring some added glamour to your wedding without overwhelming your theme! It’s such a versatile fabric that it works for many different styles and can be easily draped and styled to fit any table.

    2. Velvet:
This one is a little less common, but I think it has the most style! Velvet is so luxurious and elegant. It works in every season, depending on the color you choose. For spring and summer brides, the mauve color fits so well – like in this bohemian inspired wedding from Green Wedding Shoes. The maroon, emerald, or navy colors fit well for colder seasons like fall and winter.
    3. Gauze:
This romantic ocean wedding shoot with one of our gauze runners perfectly exemplifies the airy, graceful vibe this runner can bring to your wedding tablescape!
    4. Sequins:
These are our most popular runners and they fit for any season of the year. If your cake table needs a little extra sparkle or if you want to bring in an accent color with our champagne color or silver color (more colors available here), these are perfect! This sweet couple used some of our sequin linens in their wedding and I can't get enough of their pictures! (It was held at the Lighthouse - featured on our blog here!)
    5. Lace:
These gorgeous, romantic lace runners can bring a rustic vibe to your wedding and add another layer of elegance. I love this French country themed shoot using our runners!

You can also mix and match all of these to create a unique flair for your wedding! If you've used any of these, we'd love to see pictures! Tag us on Facebook or Instagram to make sure we see it.

I had so much fun working with several other vendors a few months ago on this shoot for Champagne Press's 2017 line - we did the linens, of course - and I'm so excited to share these with you!
I touched on invitations in the last post, but I love all the different styles Champagne Press brings to their stationary.

No matter what style you're looking for or how customized you want your invitation to be, check out CP's amazing selection!

Your wedding invitation set is the first impression that many of your guests will have with your wedding! You might have a wedding website or send out save the dates (which Champagne Press offers), but your invitations set the stage for the rest of your wedding.

For your thank you notes (or even just daily life), CP also offers stationary done in the same thoughtful, detailed style as their wedding invitations.

They even have a few guides to help you get started, if you're feeling overwhelmed! Check out their website and let me know which set is your favorite in the comments. (I love them all!)

  • Darling Blush Wedding Inspiration Board for Spring

    Posted by Jeanette Quintero
    Happy spring, everyone!
This is the season when weddings are everywhere and many brides-to-be start planning so I wanted to pop by and share what's inspiring me lately!

Floral arrangements with cake decor for spring

I love the combination of burgundy and ivory for a classic look, with pops of bright pink for spring! The contrast highlights the pink, so don't worry if your color palette for your wedding or event is monochrome - there are so many different shades that can be used. I love the cake stand and the inside of the invitation envelopes showing that so many small details can be used to highlight the color choices for your wedding.
I want to keep this short and sweet today, so we can all go enjoy the end of March and upcoming spring weather. Be sure you're following us on Facebook and Instagram for more tips, upcoming products and sales, and all the exciting things along the way!

  • Trend Alert - Vintage Accessories!

    Posted by Jeanette Quintero
As a wedding vendor, we love getting to see the changing fashions and trends in the industry -- and we've definitely noticed vintage pieces appearing more and more! Bringing in a borrowed or vintage piece to your wedding or event decor is so easy. Thrift stores all over are full of vintage accessories that are ideal for filling your space with charm! It's also a great way to infuse some personality into your gathering by using that are meaningful to you or significant to the history of the event.
Vintage dishes can be easily used as centerpieces, like Bontanica Specialty Rentals did here:
You can also use vintage or borrowed fabric or linens for table runners or decor. For this, we love our natural lace runner, to bring a little rustic vibe into your tablescapes!

If you're planning a wedding, this is the perfect time to have your "something borrowed"! We love seeing everything from grandparents' china to furniture from parents or loved ones (mismatched chairs for the head table are lovely!) being used at a wedding.

A few other ideas to bring a vintage vibe to your gathering include:

Linens in an unexpected fabric: velvet brings back memories of the 60s while sequins invokes the 70s and 80s. Vintage doesn't just mean thrift store!

Antiqued containers: stock up on old iron vases or reclaimed wood boxes for unique centerpieces or surprising decor!
Greenery and faux plants: draping vines and scattered pots add an extra layer of detail to your decor. Fortunately for you brides, decorators, and designers on a budget, these are cheap to buy and so easy to set up. You don't even need to worry about watering them!
For any brides who have used this vintage trend in their own events, how did you capture that feeling in your decor? What pieces did you use?

  • Something Blue - Wedding Chicks Feature

    Posted by Jeanette Quintero
One of our favorite things is seeing our linens featured in beautiful settings -- like the sequin tablecloth in this shoot from Wedding Chicks (if you haven't been to the Wedding Chicks site, there is so much inspiration there!).
There are so many gorgeous themes throughout this shoot between the mixing greenery and inclusion of the sweet pony to emphasize the country field vibe, down to the gold and blue china of the tablescape.
If you notice between the pictures, the color of the table linen varies slightly among the shots and picks up different hues of the tablescape in each picture.

This rustic field wedding inspiration with the flower crowns, mismatched tablescape, and various blues has so many small details that would be so easy to recreate in your own wedding! (We especially love the varying blues in the candles and cups. Ideal for incorporating some thrift store finds.)
    Couple on wedding day
The bright flowers pop against our sequin tablecloth and add an extra layer of elegance to this incredible tablescape. Adding in the mix of rose pink, gold, and light blue is so dreamy!
There's so much inspiration to find in this shoot and we love the combination of the gold and blues they used.
